What Are Qualities of Leadership?

Leadership qualities are sought after by almost all leaders, and all true leader is constantly improving. Much has been written about leadership, but its specific qualities presented in a structured model are out of reach for most.

Despite the abundance of texts containing leadership theories on leadership qualities, the subject is very individual. Successfully apply these characteristics concerted focus always leads to good leadership, while a half- hearted efforts occasional almost as regularly turns out to be a waste of time - or worse

Some literature argues that there are formal and informal leaders' leaders. By definition, the official leaders in formal positions of power, such as supervisors, managers and other positions in the commercial world. For some of these people, their way is their only claim to leadership. Informal leaders, on the other hand, leadership skills regardless of their position, creating a model for people at all levels, both within and outside the organization inside

How the informal leader comes to a position of influence varies, but it can often be a lack of leadership in an official position. The informal leader can be a person comfortable with some charisma, provide logical answers to the group with good ideas to solve problems

We often see in groups that begin by discussing particular problems. If no one is specifically responsible, a leader emerges. Ironically, it is often the person who has the most passion for the subject, not the one with the best readability on this subject. The head is often the one who is passionate about making the whole group, not only for themselves as individuals

However, they show specific qualities we can see shows leadership, and these are qualities that we can develop our own to improve leadership. Although we are not able to define the qualities of leadership precisely, we can recognize them when we see them

The seven stages of transformational leadership

: Influence- 1

Each of us has the ability to lead. We only become effective leaders when we gain the courage to risk making a mistake, when we hold the vision high, and we influence others to share responsibility for achieving the goal. If the objective is to achieve a measure of success, then influence the group to achieve is a natural byproduct of the courage to act on the vision



: 2- Inspire

When the right people in the team and they have the resources to do the job, then they are encouraged to get out of bed in the morning excited to go to work. Motivation bubbling inside. A leader maintains inspired, making sure they know their role in the team, the value of this role and what is expected of them. One who knows how their role fits into the overall scheme will have no trouble staying motivated, and they are deeply interested in the changes that occur within the group

3- Ignite Passion :

Leaders who are passionate about their vision are zealous to ensure that everyone in the organization shares their passion. They will involve everyone in the team to a point where it is not just a vision, but a tangible part of the environment. Everything that follows is a reflection of this vision, and vision serves as a beacon to guide the actions of all stakeholders. These leaders know their people well - that they, their personalities, their stories readers - and are heavily involved in attracting and retaining the right people to do the job

4- Throw :

Staying focused on the main goal of the group will drive a leader to take the initiative, never distracted from the true path. Very often, a leader faces obstacles because the vision requires methods that did not even exist before. It is times like these when using initiative and encourage activities lead the team forward

5- Involved :

Whether or not you have surrounded yourself with only those who agree with you, it is imperative to involve others in your system as leader. Meanwhile the right people to show up for a job at the right time is often a sterile Thurs No team, no case is never quite right, and the possibility loves speed. Success like momentum. A good leader is careful to involve people who are available, causing them to perform at a level they did not know they could reach. Recognize the benefits of having a personality and variety of skill levels in your group. Delegate, and praised their involvement. Not only do people come with skill levels, but a diversity of views is essential for the success of your business

6- Convey :

When leaders develop their following, they are free to pursue the work of visionaries. This means keeping the goal in sight, correcting the course if necessary, changing conditions as necessary to succeed, and envision every step of the way. The art of refinement is a skill all leaders seem to have that is not taught in school. Communicate these refinements of vision is the most subtle but essential task of a leader. Assumption leads to failure. Envision is the clearest path to success as a leader

After hiring the right people for the task group, a leader knows out of their way. If you micromanage them, it means you do not need them. Depend on your people in all your processes. Ensure that things work as well as you hope, and be sure you can make the appropriate changes in a timely manner. Listen to the people you hired, and count on them to deliver the project on task and on budget
